“Quiet! Come out of him!”
“조용히 하여라. 그 사람에게서 나가라.”

 

 

 

조용히 하여라!

Quiet! 

 

 그 사람에게서 나가라!

Come out of him!

 

 

오늘의 말씀은 더러운 영에게 명령하신 것입니다.

나가라라고 하는데 우리는 go를 연상하는데,

영어에서는 come이 사용되었습니다.

 

그럼 그 사람에게서 나와라!라고

번역을 안 하고

굳이 그 사람에게서 나가라라고 번역을 했을까요.

 

이는 더러운 영이라는 점에 초점을 맞춰서

악령을 쫓아낸다는 의미에

방점을 두어 번역한 듯합니다.

 

 

 

Tuesday of the First Week of Ordinary Time

Gospel
MK 1:21-28

Jesus came to Capernaum with his followers,
and on the sabbath he entered the synagogue and taught.
The people were astonished at his teaching,
for he taught them as one having authority and not as the scribes.
In their synagogue was a man with an unclean spirit;
he cried out, “What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth?
Have you come to destroy us?
I know who you are–the Holy One of God!”
Jesus rebuked him and said, “Quiet! Come out of him!”
The unclean spirit convulsed him and with a loud cry came out of him.

All were amazed and asked one another,
“What is this?
A new teaching with authority.
He commands even the unclean spirits and they obey him.”
His fame spread everywhere throughout the whole region of Galilee.
